Weddings & Wedding Ceremony Consults
First of all - congratulations!
Working with all couples to create wedding ceremonies that authentically reflect who they are and joyfully share their ongoing love story is a passion of mine as a Celebrant. It is vitally important to acknowledge this transition - both for the couple getting married, and for their communities. When we attend a wedding, the vitality and momentum a couple feels as they begin the adventure of married life ripple outward and saturate those attending with joy and hope. What a meaningful gift!
There is no right or wrong way to get married! Working with me ensures that your story will be told your way, with as many - or as few - bells and whistles as you would like. In you and your partner, we already have all we need to begin.
My training as a Celebrant includes working with those who identify as 'spiritual, but not religious' and may be searching out how to thoughtfully combine elements of family, cultural, and/or ancestral beliefs with personal beliefs. If this speaks to you, know that it is possible to find ways to honor your family that are in alignment with who you and your partner are.
If you have a friend or loved one in mind to lead your ceremony, but would appreciate some professional ideas or oversight, I am also pleased to offer consulting on wedding ceremonies. These consults can also be useful if you are thinking about writing your own ceremony but feel a bit daunted at the prospect of reading all of the millions of posts on the Internet about how to do that, or if you and your partner are getting stuck when it comes to how to handle a particular part of the wedding ceremony.
